Which meters can Rhino read over DLMS?
Rhino reads DLMS through a Rhino AP or an ED, depending on the interface the meter exposes, and each meter below carries its own install detail.
DLMS/COSEM is the modelling standard behind most smart electricity meters in Europe. Rather than raw registers, it describes the meter as a set of named objects, which makes readings portable between meter brands.
Rhino reads it through the access point or an expansion device, depending on whether the meter exposes it over Ethernet, RS485 or an optical port.
The usual practical question is not whether the meter speaks DLMS but whether the utility will release the credentials to read it.
Any meter that speaks Modbus or M-Bus connects to the Rhino AP, whether or not we have set that model up before. What we have already configured is a record of past work, not a boundary. Tell us what you have at sales@rhino.energy and we will name the device you need.

Know the protocol. Now do the building.
Send us the meter list for a site and we will come back with the device per meter, the transformers and adapters it needs, and the parts of the job that need an electrician on site.
